Well, here we are, the first of June ‘08 and it’s Lazy Sunday time again. This event comes round far too quickly each year. Organised by the Can-Am Club, (Canadian/American car club), & held at Oakdale School in Poole, Dorset, it’s just a short run along the coast for me -enough to get the old V8 warmed up. Show cars came from far & wide though. Lots of variety with a number of cars I hadn’t seen before. As this is Andy Saunders’ back yard, there were several of his custom creations on show too.
Vehicles come and go all day long at this event -you could say it’s a rolling show. There were a few stalls, along with the burger van doing a brisk trade. The rain arrived at 1.15pm prompt, just as the raffle was taking place, so there was no mass exodus. Thankfully it didn't last for long & the sun was soon shining on the righteous once more.
A nice show. I’m sure I’ll be back in the Chevy again next year.
